DENVER, Colo. (247marketnews.com) -- NN (NASDAQ:NNBR) announced that it has secured additional multi-year awards to manufacture liquid cooling components used within the NVIDIA AI data center supply chain, further expanding its presence in one of its targeted growth markets. According to the company, the newly announced awards are incremental to previously disclosed business and significantly increase its portfolio of precision stainless-steel components designed for liquid-cooled AI computing infrastructure.

To support the additional demand, NN plans to expand manufacturing capacity at its Wuxi, China facility through the addition of new CNC machining centers and the repurposing of existing automotive production equipment. Upon completion of the expansion, the company expects to have 52 dedicated machines supporting its liquid cooling product business, including 50 production lines and two machines dedicated to prototype development. Management stated that existing production capacity has already been committed, while the company continues pursuing additional opportunities within the global AI data center market.
NN has identified data centers, electric grid infrastructure, medical products, defense, and electronics as key long-term growth markets. The company believes its decades of experience manufacturing high-precision fluid management components position it to participate in the increasing adoption of liquid cooling technologies as next-generation AI computing systems require greater thermal management capabilities. Management also noted that the latest awards are expected to contribute to 2026 revenue and remain consistent with previously issued guidance for new business wins during the year.
Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, NN operates manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia, supplying precision-engineered components to a variety of industrial markets. Investors may monitor the company's upcoming second-quarter earnings release for additional updates regarding production capacity expansion, customer demand, and any revisions to its 2026 and 2027 financial outlook.
